Introduction

Since returing from Guatemala, countless people have excitedtly said to me, "So, tell me about your trip!". I am going to attempt to do just that, but after being there for 15 days, there are a million stories that I could tell. Instead of recounting day by day, I will focus on the instances that truly demonstrate the simply happiness that the country embraces. While in country, I journaled extensively every day with this project in mind. I am going to be pulling from those journals in order to accurately convey my experiences.
